POPIA and PAIA Manual

This Manual explains how Kasi Mall processes personal information and handles requests under the Protection of Personal Information Act and the Promotion of Access to Information Act.

Information Officer

The Founder and CEO of Kasi Mall serves as the Information Officer unless another person is formally appointed.

Personal information processed

• Names and contact details.
• Delivery and billing addresses.
• Identity and business information where legally required.
• Payment-related information.
• Order and transaction history.
• Device, usage and technical information.

Purpose of processing

• Register customers and vendors.
• Facilitate purchases, payments and deliveries.
• Prevent fraud and protect the marketplace.
• Meet legal and regulatory obligations.
• Improve platform services.

Requests for records

Requests for access to records must be submitted in accordance with applicable PAIA requirements. Kasi Mall may request proof of identity and any information reasonably needed to identify the requested records.

Security safeguards

Kasi Mall implements reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect information from loss, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or misuse.
